It wasn't especially often that moments between Hanzo and the daughter he'd claimed as his own could be considered particularly tender, but when it happened, it was like this-- with the two of them breathless and drained, holding onto the slick heat of each other's bodies as they gradually descended from the shared high of such intense climaxes. At the small, almost sad sound of Abel's words, Hanzo's head tilted up so that his eyes could meet hers.
There was the briefest of flickers where his temper could have exploded-- anger not at Abel, of course, but at the entire clan, and by extension, himself, for the hurts that had been done to the girl and made such a thought even remotely possible in her mind. But he would save that fury for those who deserved it.
Hanzo raised a hand and stroked the young girl's cheek. "I could never, my darling little girl. I could lose an arm and feel far more whole than I ever would without my daughter."
Leaning down, he kissed her softly. "Daddy will always be here, Abel. And you will always be Daddy's girl."
It's been an exhausting year, so no worries. Obviously, delays are going around
